Rope-Pattern-Logo-300wHello to all you digital designers, Photoshop artists, matte painters, and creative creators, this freebie is for you: 3 unique seamless rope textures, aka repeating rope patterns. I guarantee that you’ve never seen these patterns before, since I took the photos myself on my Sony camera. (It’s a Sony DSC-HX300. If you’re shopping for a camera, I highly recommend it.) Each pattern tile is 512 x 512 pixels. In order to download the rope pattern, simply click on the images below. The free versions of these patterns are for personal/educational use only.

I tried to use your free copy of rope 1 and when I opened it in photoshop the layer is partially locked and nothing can be done with it, all I can do is move it around. I am using cs5 please tell me how to fix this or how to download it properly. Thanks.

      Hi Marie,

In Photoshop, change the Image mode for the PNG from Index to RGB by going to: Image->Mode->RGB. Alternatively, you could copy and paste the rope image into a new document.
