Printable Paper Dice Template Pdf: Make Your Own 6, 10 & 12 Sided Dice

Make your own dice in this fun and easy do-it-yourself (DIY) art craft project for both kids and grownups. There are many printable paper dice templates to choose from: 6-sided, 10-sided, and 12-sided dice in black & white, ivory, red, blue and green. The 10 & 12 sided dice are particularly great for role playing board games.

The neat thing about making your own dice is you can make them any size you want. The black and white templates below are pdf files, and since they were created in Adobe Illustrator, they scale to any size without pixelation. The colored dice templates are pngs. However, they have been saved at a high resolution, so they’ll look great too.

The each of the dice come in four five different colors: black and white, ivory, red, blue, and green. Finally, there’s a step-by-step tutorial near the bottom of the page showing you how to make your own dice. Have fun!

How to Make Your Own Dice

Below is a step-by-step tutorial to guide you through the process of making your own paper or cardboard 6-sided dice.

Step 1: Gather your materials: Your template of choice, cardboard, scissors, a ruler, tape, x-acto knife, glue stick, and packaging tape. Laminate is optional. (Not shown)

Step 2: Measure six cardboard squares that are the size of the die faces on your template. If you like, you can use another template for this. Cut out the six squares using the x-acto knife.

Step 3: Build a cube using the cardboard square sides. Tape it together using the clear packaging tape.

Step 4: If you like, laminate the template you will be using for the dice.

Step 5: Cut out the template.

Step 6: Fold the template along the appropriate creases.

Step 7: Paste the template onto the cardboard cube with the glue stick. Congratulations! Your dice art craft is now complete.
