Connect 701 dots to complete the diver dot-to-dot. The classic diving helmet depicted in this connect-the-dots activity calls forth imagery of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Lose your troubles amongst the bubbles. Sit back with a cup of coffee, sharpen that old Ticonderoga #2, and trace across the page. After you’ve reached the final dot, open up a pack of Crayola markers. Polish up the illustration with vibrant colors: Navy Niblet, Turtle Green, and Mermaid Tail Turquoise. Create a work of art that would make Captain Nemo proud!
I’ve long been a fan of the classic diving helmets and the sense of adventure they convey. That sort of steam-punk 19th century technology, with all its brass and bolts, is visually very striking. With this diver dot-to-dot, I’ve tried to recapture a bit of that feeling.
